YO Ranch Steakhouse Review
YO Ranch Steakhouse’s menu features wild game, seafood, and a selection of various steaks. Here you can find venison roll-ups, rattlesnake pie, and even a buffalo filet!
To start, we ordered the Pimento Cheese Fritters. These crisp, fried balls come with cheese, scallions, and roasted pepper inside of them, and are served with house made Tabasco jam.
They taste great, and the jam was a neat addition. Personally, I prefer adding Cholula hot sauce to them though.
The chili is also a delicious starter. It’s basic chili, with ground beef, onions, and cheese – served with crackers.
For the main course, we ordered the Buffalo Filet Mignon (a dish featured on the Food Network), as well as the Prime Rib French Dip.
The Buffalo Filet Mignon is served with a side of mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, and two grilled shrimps. Cooked to perfection with a tender center, it tastes great!
In my opinion, it’s very similar to a regular beef filet mignon, but it has less fat on it, and I believe it’s more tender than the average filet mignon. I order my meat cooked medium well, and it’s easy to make the mistake of overcooking it – but not at YO Ranch Steakhouse! It was fantastic.
The Prime Rib French Dip is served on a rosemary ciabatta bun, with horseradish cream, caramelized onions, and au jus. It comes with a side of hand cut fries.
We also ordered a side of Brussel Sprouts to eat with our meal. They look good, but taste even better.
We declined to get dessert as we were completely stuffed from our meals!
Overall, YO Ranch Steakhouse was phenomenal. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was amazing! I would recommend Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse to anyone in Dallas.
